Anthony Woods
Business Manager

Anthony Woods is the Senior Director and Business Manager for Vettec. Anthony has served in a number of senior roles at various corporations including Director of Engineering and Product Development, New Product Development Manager, and Senior Program Manager. Anthony has a passion for delighting customers and creating world leading products and services. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Management from the Oregon Health and Sciences University.


Jessica Williams
Marketing Project Manager

Jessica Williams is the Marketing Project Manager for Vettec. She develops the content and marketing strategy for Vettec’s social media, video, web and print, maintains dealer and customer relationships, provides technical support for customers and field representatives, and plans all tradeshows and hands-on workshops.

Jessica has been with Vettec since 2004, when she started as the Customer Service Manager for Vettec and Vettec’s sister company DUX Dental. In 2006, she transitioned to being the Vettec Marketing Project Manager. Since then, Jessica has overseen and provided strategy around the go-to-market planning for multiple adhesive product launches within the business. Jessica enjoys working closely with people, and the experience she has gained in the equine industry has been very valuable. She is an exceptional teacher and product expert.

Jessica received her Associates of Arts degree in 2007 from Ventura College and is currently finishing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at California State University Channel Islands.

Outside of work, Jessica is an avid book reader. She also enjoys making jewelry, spending time camping and hiking with her sons, husband and her dog. She Ioves to cook and is hooked on spin classes. Jessica currently lives with her family in Oxnard, Calif.

Larkin Greene
Western Regional Sales Manager

Larkin Greene is the Western Regional Sales Manager for Vettec. In the territory spanning from Wyoming to Hawaii, and Saskatchewan to British Columbia, Canada, Larkin educates dealers, farriers, veterinarians and horse owners on the benefits and application of Vettec products. He also conducts lectures and clinics at farrier schools, veterinary programs and occasionally at the annual International Hoof Care Summit. Before joining Vettec, Larkin worked with DUX Dental, a sister company of Vettec’s for 13 years as a sales representative and regional manager. Larkin began his career with Vettec in 2001.

As a young man, Larkin managed several farm and ranch supply stores while living on a ranch and riding horses. However, it was not until he began working under horses that he gained a profound appreciation and respect for the farrier industry. Larkin’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping large animals using a team approach with farriers, veterinarians and horse owners.  

Larkin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Education from Sacramento State University.

Outside of work, Larkin enjoys the “two M’s” – Motorcycling and Music. He collects vintage motorcycles and stringed instruments, and admits that storage space can be a problem. He says, “When it comes to motorcycles and guitars, you can never have too many.”

Tab Pigg – CJF
Central Regional Sales Manager

Tab Pigg is the Central Regional Sales Manager for Vettec, and oversees states ranging from Canada to Mexico, between the Rockies and the Mississippi River. He travels frequently educating dealers and farriers at hands-on workshops and represents Vettec at tradeshow events. Tab assisted Vettec for three years leading clinics and helping with regional work before joining the company fulltime in 2003.

Tab was raised around horses and became genuinely interested in the equine industry in 1982. With the skills he learned through hands-on experience and multiple apprenticeships, Tab started a shoeing practice of his own in 1984. In 1992, Tab successfully took the Certified Journeyman Farrier exam and has been practicing as a farrier ever since. Tab has presented at the International Hoof Care Summit several times, and served as the Marketing Chairman on the Farrier Industry Association (FIA) board of directors for two years. Tab is a spokesperson for Vettec and is published in many equine industry publications.

Outside of work, Tab enjoys fishing and golfing, although the rain and heat in Texas keep him busy mowing his lawn. Tab also enjoys visiting his father nearby to help on their family farm.

Lynne Myers
Southeast Regional Sales Manager

Lynne Myers is the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Vettec in the territory covering the southeastern states of the U.S. Lynne often travels up to three weeks a month teaching hands-on workshops, visiting dealers and working with horses and cattle to solve shoeing challenges. She joined Vettec in 2007.

Lynne has had a passion for animals her whole life, and grew up on a ranch with cattle and horses. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Arizona in Animal Science with emphasis on genetics, reproduction and nutrition. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Lynne completed two years of law school and decided her true passion was to work with animals. Outside of owning her own horses, Lynne began working with small animals, and bred and showed German Shepherd Dogs for 12 years. Lynne bred and showed multiple champions and best in show specialty, as well as one of the top 10 show dogs in the country.

Outside of work, Lynne enjoys riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle with her husband, target shooting and being out-and-about with her two Great Danes. Lynne currently lives in Georgia.

Kris Kibbey
Northeast Regional Sales Manager

Kris Kibbey is the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Vettec in the territory covering Northeastern states, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Eastern Canada, educating dealers and farriers on how to apply and use Vettec products on a weekly basis. Kris joined Vettec immediately after his college career in 2007.

Kris has owned horses since he was in sixth grade and trained an American Quarter Horse that went on to be the AQHA world champion in 2001. He still owns that horse today. Kris began his college career at West Texas A&M University with a major in Equine Business. After two years, he transferred back to his home state of New York to Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine where completed the farrier program. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the State University of New York at Oswego in Marketing.

Outside of work, Kris enjoys running. In 2014, he ran 15 marathons and completed one 100k race. Kris resides in Ohio and New York, depending on where he is working.

Tomohiro Ohtani - FEI Level 1 Steward
Products Adviser and Clinician

Tomohiro Ohtani is a Products Adviser and Clinician for Vettec in Japan. He often works on horses and educates customers about how to apply and use Vettec products. Tomohiro joined the company in 2006 after practicing as a farrier on his own for several years. 

Tomohiro started riding horses at the age of 12, and began grooming them at age 19. He was immediately infatuated with the industry and worked at the same horse stable for 14 years where he held various positions, including stable manager, chief of planning and public relations, as well as taught and organized horse shows. At 23, Tomohiro taught himself how to shoe horses. By 34, he left the stables and started practicing shoeing on his own. Tomohiro successfully completed the farrier program at the Japan Farriers Association Education Center and became certified in basic forging and shoeing, and more importantly, Biomechanics under Dr.Osamu (Sammy) Aoki.

Tomohiro participates in 15 horse shows a year as a judge, steward and an official farrier. He is certified as a Japan Equestrian Federation Judge Grade 1, Course Designer Grade 2 and as a Japan Equestrian Federation Instructor. From 2008 to 2014 he was the Steward/Official Farrier at the All Japan Showjumping Championship. In 2014, he was the Chief Steward at the All Japan Showjumping Championship, and the Official Farrier at the 2014 All Japan Dressage Championship and All Japan Junior Dressage Championship. Tomohiro also holds Vettec clinics for students at the Farrier Education Center once a year.

Outside of work, Tomohiro enjoys riding horses, watching movies and listening to Opera music.

Martin Zimmer – CJF
EU Director of Sales

Martin Zimmer is a Technical Support Representative for Vettec. Within his territory of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Martin travels every week teaching hands-on workshops on how to apply and use Vettec products, visiting and educating dealers and providing technical support for horse owners. Martin joined Vettec in 2014.

Martin has been riding horses since he was six years old and knew he always wanted to work in the equine industry. Originally from Germany, Martin came to the U.S. in 2002, and started his farrier education at the Kentucky Horse Shoeing School in 2006. After taking the Certified Journeyman Farrier exam and doing an apprenticeship with Mitch Taylor, owner of the Kentucky Horse Shoeing School, he started his own shoeing business. In 2010, Martin received the prestigious “Rising Shoe Star” award from Farrier’s Journal for his exceptional service to the farrier industry. Martin moved back to Germany in 2011 and took the Diploma of Worshipful Company of Farriers exam to maintain his credentials in Germany and the U.K. Martin practiced as a fulltime farrier in Germany until 2014, when he joined Vettec. He loves working with horses, but enjoys his position with Vettec because he’s able to educate and work with people, not just horses.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys riding his two horses, mountain biking, building horseshoes and taking fitness classes.
